My producer Charlene convinced me to make a little video at home yesterday as I was preparing my new favorite hardly-any-cooking-dish: Japanese fish tacos! If you have 15 minutes to spare you can make this dish – and 7 of them can be spent staring at the TV while the fish cooks in the oven. Take a look (but don’t laugh, apparently I do a lot of hand-flailing on video)!

Something I left out of the video was a list of possible toppings: scallions, cilantro, shredded lettuce, pickled ginger, kimchi, wasabi mayo, sesame seeds, bean sprouts, nori flake and Sriracha sauce. Some bowls of sticky rice would round out this dinner nicely.

Comments

  1. What a great idea! I can’t wait to try it.

  2. I am scared of Wasabi and I LOVED this dish!!! THanks for encouraging me to try it Jonathan!.
